Mrs. Isabella Davis   Indiana County Gazette   1/12/1910
 
Mrs. Isabella Davis, wife of Enoch Davis, of Glen Campbell, died at the
Medico-Chi Hospital, Philadelphia, Friday night, Dec. 31, aged 44 years. She
was taken to the hospital July 27.  Mrs. Davis was born in Durham county, 
England.  Before her marriage to Enoch Davis, the deceased was Mrs. Isabella 
Swaddle. Her first husband, Thomas Swaddle, was killed by a fall of rock at 
Brandon, England, in May, 1889.  She was married five years later to Mr. 
Davis.  The deceased is survived by her husband and three children:  Mrs. David 
Elsmere, and John and Joseph Swaddle, all of Glen Campbell, and four sisters, 
Mrs. Barbara France, of Glen Campbell; Mrs. Anna (?ummerhill), Mrs.
Sarah (Fas??t) and Mrs. Margaret Fisher, all of England.  Rev. F. C. Buyers, 
pastor of the Methodist Episcopal church, of which Mrs. Davis was a member, 
preached the funeral sermon at services held in the Glen Campbell Union church 
on Jan. 4. The Ladies of the Golden Eagle and the Degree of Na?mi of the
A. 0. K. of M. C., had the funeral services in charge.
