The son of Ford C. and Blanche Lydick Dick, he was born Feb. 7, 1929, in Cherryhill Township. He was a lifelong resident of Indiana. In 1955 he married Eleanor Yvonne Trimble Dick, who died in 1979. Mr. Dick was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Indiana, and Teamsters Union Local 110. He was a veteran-of the Korean War, having served in the U.S. Army. He was employed by the Pennsyl- vania Department of Highways and later was employed by Harvey Com- pany, Indiana. He retired in 1990 after 32 years of employment. Surviving are three daughters, Penny, wife of Anthony D. Perman, Homer City; Valerie, wife of Ryan Ross, Shelecta; Jodi, wife of John Hagele, Pittsburgh; two grandsons, Justin Anthony and Jeremy Russell Perman; two aunts, Bessie Deaben- derfer, Indiana, and Goldie Lydick, Indiana. He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife; and three uncles, Roy, Earl and Jess Lydick. Friends will be received Saturday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the C. Frederick Bowser Funeral Home, Homer City, where funeral services will be held Sunday at 3.30 p.m. with Dr. John Inghram officiating. Inter- ment will follow in Oakland Ceme- tery, Indiana. Memorial contributions may be made to the VNA/Hospice Founda- tion, Indiana.
