Peter Dilts
Peter Dilts died at the home of his daughter, Mrs John Thompson, in Kansas, 
February 8. He was born on the old " Dilts farm" in South Mahoning township in 
1819 and some twelve years ago went to Kansas and made his home with his 
daughter. He was a prominent citizen of our county for many years and served 
one term as Associate Judge. He was a warm friend of the common school system 
and took a deep interest in all public affairs.
