JACOB J. EVERWINE Jacob J. Everwine, a well known and respected citizen of Rayne township, died suddenly Saturday morning of acute dilatation of the heart. He was in his usual health when he arose this morning, and after eating his breakfast, was sitting in a rocking hair when the sudden summons came. Deceased was born on the farm where he died, Oct. 27, 1841, and spent all his life on the place. He is survived by his wife , three sons and three daughters: Mrs. H.W. Longwill, Dixonville; Mrs. T.M. Strong, Rayne Township; Mrs. Geo. Gibson, New York City; T.J. Everwine, Pittsburg; John Everwine, who now owns the old home farm, and Dr. J.M. Everwine of CLymer. One sister, Mrs. Louisa Ziegler of Indiana is also living. Interment was made at Bethel, of which church he was a member, on Tuesday.
