MARY REBECCA COALMER EVERWINE, 81, Marion Center, R.D. 1, died Tuesday, Sept. 22, 1981, at her home. The son (sic) of James and Jennie Williams Coalmer, she was born Feb. 7, 1900, in Rayne Township, Indiana County. Mrs. Everwine was a member of Bethel Lutheran Church, Marion Center, RD 1. She formerly taught at a number of elementary schools including Shields and Dixonville. For a number of years, she had been employed by Pikes Peak Nursery. Surviving are a brother, Kenneth E. Coalmer, Marion Center RD1; and a number of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, John W. Everwine, whom she had married in 1922; three brothers, Clyde Coalmer, John Coalmer, and an infant brother, Jay Coalmer; two sisters, Hazel Huey and Helen Sickenberger. Friends will be received from 7-9 pm today and from 2-4 and from 7-9 Thursday in the Rairigh Funeral Home, Hillsdale, where a service will be held at 1:30 pm Friday, Sept. 25, with the Rev. Ray A. Snair officiating. Interment will follow in Oakland Cemetery, Indiana. 9/23/81
