Helen E. Mihalyov Forsha, 84. Pershing Ave., Blairsville, died Sunday. Dec. 20,
1992, in Parkview Community Hospital, Riverside. The daughter of George and
Helen Karas Mihalyov. she was born May 23, 1908, in Darlington. Mrs. Forsha was
a member of the United Presbyterian Church, Blairsville. Surviving are one
daughter. Mrs. Harvey (Shirley) Snyder. Riverside. Calif.; three grandsons: two
brothers. Steve Mihalyov, Blairsville RD 3 and John Mihalyov, Rochester. N.Y.:
and two sisters. Mrs Ann Bennett. Blairsville. and Mrs. Betty Cramer. Wayne.
Mich. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert R. Forsha, in 1986, her
parents, a sister, Mary McKee. and brothers Paul and Mike Mihalyov. Friends will
be received from 7-9 p.m Thursday and from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday in the
Richard L. Shinmaker Funeral Home, Blairsville. A funeral service will be held
at 11 a.m. Saturday in the United Presbyterian Church. Blairsville with Dr Roger
D. Petersen officiating. Interment will follow in Blairsville Cemetery.
