William Glen Forsha, 70. of 194 W. Ranson Ave., Blairsville, died Tuesday. March
26, 1965, at his home. A son of Jesse I. and Myrtle Riter Forsha, he was born
Oct 1, 1914. in Blairsville. Mr. Forsha was a member of the First United
Methodist Church, Blairsville; a charter member of the Derry Ukranian Club;
member of BPOE Lodge 406 and FOE Aerie 1488, both of Blairsville. He was a
retired employee of the General State Authority. He had formerly been a
Blairsville policeman and manager of the Manos Theaters in Blairsville and
Latrobe. Surviving are two brothers and two sisters: Wayne J., Blairsville RD 2;
Harold, Arnold; Mrs. Nellie Lowman, Blairsville; Mrs. Gertrude Flickinger,
Williamstown, Vt. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Sara M.
Winters Forsha, in 1976; two sisters, Eloise and Dorothy; and a brother, Donald.
Friends will be received from 7-9 p.m. Wednesday (today) in the Richard L.
Shoemaker Funeral Home, Blairsville, where services be held at 11 a.m. Thursday.
Rev. Richard M, King will officiate with interment in the Blairsville Cemetery.
