WILBUR R. FORSHA, 85, Blairsville RD 4 (Strangford), died Sunday, July 19, 1932,
at Beacon Manor, Indiana. The son of Rollie and Sara B. Howard Forsha, he was
born April 3, 1907, in Burrell Township. Mr. Forsha had lived most of his life
in Burrell Township. Prior to his retirement in 1972, he had been employed by
Teledyne-Vasco, Latrobe. Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Stanley (Brenda)
Danilowicz, Clarksburg; three sisters: Grace Libengood, Blairsville RD 4; Thelma
Oaks, Burghill, Ohio; and Mrs. Ralph (Lillian) Lashinsky, Latrobe; and numerous
nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth H. Brendlinger
Forsha, in 1991; a son, Norman Forsha; five brothers, Earl, Virgil, Everett,
Homer and Lawrence Forsha; and a sister, Mary E. Butler. Friends will be
received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. today in the Richard L. Shoemaker Funeral Home,
Blairsville, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday with the Rev.
Terry Hurlbutt officiating. Interment will follow in Germany Lutheran Cemetery,
West Wheatfield Township.
