Mrs. Helen M. Forsha, 87, of South Stewart Street, Blairsville, died Thursday,
April 26, 1990, in Latrobe Area Hospital. She was born April 24, 1903, in
Socialville, Pa., a daughter of the late Ottis Arthur and Emma Delilah Starry
Bennett. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Blairsville
and was a retired telephone operator. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Harold
Lila Thomas of Blairsville and Mrs. Salvadore (Carol) Condi of Blairsville RD 3;
five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren, and a sister, Mrs. Pearl Wertz of
Blairsville RD 4. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband,
Vernon M. "Bud" Forsha; a sister, Mrs. Bertha Baumann, and two brothers, John
and McKinney Bennett. Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday and 2 to
4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday in Ferguson-Helm Funeral Home, Blairsville, where the
service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday with the Rev. Richard M. King officiating.
Interment will follow in Blairsville Cemetery.
