Forsha, 53, of Blairsville R.D.2 died Tuesday in Latrobe Area Hospital. He was born May 10, 1923, in Blairsville, son of the late Addison and Margaret Waugaman Forsha. He was employed by the Penn Central Railroad as an engineer on the Conemaugh Division, member of the Brotherhood of Railroad Firemen and Engineers and the Blairsville BPO Elks 406 and veteran of World War II, serving with the U. S. Navy. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, and one half-sister. He is survived by his widow, Bertha G. Carlson Forsha; two sisters, Mrs. Mary McIntosh and Mrs. Sue Uss, both of Blairsville; two brothers, Paul Forsha of Blairsville and Phillip Forsha of Philadelphia, and two half- brothers, William Waugaman of Greensburg and Preston Forsha of Derry. Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday in Ferguson-Helm Funeral Home, Blairsville, where services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday with the Rev. William West officiating., Interment will follow in Blairsville Cemetery.
