Mrs. Sarah A. Cribbs Forsha, 74, 135 Maple Ave., Blairsville, died today, June
4. 1959, at Latrobe Hospital. Born in Blairsville. March 29, 1885, she was a
daughter of Burb Cribbs and Amanda Smith Cribbs. She was a member of the
Blairsville United Presbyterian Church and Ladies Auxiliary of Brotherhood of
Railroad Trainmen. Surviving are one sister, Mrs. Walter Moore, Homestead Park.
Pa., one brother. Jack Cribbs, Blairsville; three daughters, Mrs. George (Helen)
Piper, Blairsville; Mrs. Walter (Betty) McCracken, Latrobe: Mrs. James (Mary
Louise) Beatty, Florida; seven sons: Roy J., Ralph C., Robert R., Clarence M.,
all of Blairsville; Joseph E., Latrobe; William Donald, Texas; George O., New
Jersey; 23 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Friends will be received at
the Ferguson Funeral Home. Blairsville, where services will be conducted at 2
p.m. Saturday, the Rev. Edward J. Thompson in charge. Interment will follow in
the Blairsville Cemetery.
