Mrs. Ruth Frances Forsha, 83 years, died at one o'clock Wednesday morning,
November 24, 1948, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Ann Stockdale of South
Morris street, with whom she had made her home for the past two years. Mrs.
Forsha was born March 20, 1865, in Armstrong County, and was a daughter of the
late Thomas and Ruth Gray Simpson. Her husband Frank I Forsha, died 13 years
ago. Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Ann Stockdale of Waynesburg; Mrs. Stella
Ambler of Akron, Ohio; Mrs. Rhoda Livengood, of Aspinwall, and Mrs. Mabel
McCormich of Elrama; and two sons, Stuart Forsha of Sharpsburg, and John Forsha
of Aspinwall. Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon in the Hunter
Funeral Home in Blairsville. Interment in Oakland Cemetery, Indiana.
