The son of Aaron and Zoe Williams Farmery, he was born Jan. 24, 1928, in Banks Township. Mr. Farmery was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. He was a member of the Operating Engineers Local 66, Pittsburgh, and the American Legion FeePenning- ton Post 435, Glen Campbell. Mr. Farmery was a heavy equip ment operator employed with the L.R~ Owen Construction Co., Johns- town, for many years and later worked with the I.A. Construction Co., Concordville. Surviving are his wife of 43 years, Lesta "Jane" Fetterman Farmery; three children: Mrs. Norman (Sher- ry) Trimble, Glen Campbell; Oary Farmery and his wife, the former Diana Fleming, Cherry Tree RD 2; and Mrs. Barry (Joan) Sunderlin, Burnside; seven grandchildren: Jennifer Trimble; Brant and Adam Farmery; Justin, Shawn, and Alec Sunderlin; and a great-grandchild, Tanner Sunderlin; and the following siblings: Robert Farmery, Punxsu- tawney; Mrs. Stanley (Mona) Ku- becki, Stevensville, Md.; Mrs. Louis (Mary) Podrasky, Windber; and Aaron C. Farmery, Rochester Mills. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Harold Far- mery; a sister, Joyce Cunningham; and a granddaughter, Lissa Far- mery. The family is honoring Mr. Far- mery's request for no public visita- tion, and the observance of a private funeral service for the family. Rev. Mark R. Blair will officiate. Inter- ment will be made in the Thompson Cemetery, Hillsdale. The Albert E. Rairigh Funeral Home, Hillsdale, is in charge of arrangements.
