The sad news of the death of ELLEN WALKER FETTERMAN, Gipsy, which occured
on Friday morning was received everywhere with sorrow. She had been in
poor health for some time, and her death was expected by her friends. She
was a devoted Christian of the Montgomery Brethren Church for a number
of years. She was a daughter of Mrs. Kathryn Walker of Purchase Line, and
has been a resident of Wilgus almost her entire life. She leaves to mourn
her loss, a husband, John Fetterman, a daughter Eva and a son, Ivan, her
mother and two brothers, Howard of Philadelphia and Frank Walker of Green
Township, a half sister, Mrs. Wm. Wright. Funeral services were conducted
on Monday morning at the Montgomery Church by a large number of sorrowing
friends in charge of Rev. Oran Fyock, Rev. Kyper and Rev. Wakeman, with
interment in the Montgomery Cemetery.
