(Doc) FISHER, 53, of 311 Linden Avenue, an employee of the Pennsylvania Department of Highways, died at 5:10 a. m. Sunday in the Oil City Hospital after a short illness. Mr. Fisher for many years owned and operated the Fisher Nursery near Henrys Bend. He was born in Glen Campbell March 24, 1914, a son of William and Ida. J. (Fetterman) Fisher. Mr. Fisher graduated from high school in Indiana. At the time of his death he was roadside division technician for the Department of Highways. Mr. Fisher was a member of the Eagles and Elks lodges. He war married September 25, 1965, to the former Mary Flis Barsh, who survives. Also surviving are his mother, Mrs. Ida Fisher of Indiana; a brother, Alvie E. Fisher of Indiana; two sisters, Mrs. Edgar (Gladys) Beatty and Mrs. Robert (Martha) Shunkwiler of Indiana; two step-children and four children to a previous marriage. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today and Tuesday at the Reinsel Funeral Home. High mass of requiem will be celebrated at 9 a. m. Wedensday in St. Joseph Church. Interment will be in the Calvary Cemetery. ___________________________________________________________________
