Mrs. Alice Gardner, 85, of Glen Campbell died Sunday, Feb. 27, 1977, in Miners
Hospital, Spangler. A daughter of George and Anna Bennett Gardner, she was born
Feb. 10, 1892 in Glen Campbell. Mrs. Gardner lived her entire life in Glen
Campbell. She was the last surviving member of her family. Surviving are a
niece, Mrs. Paul (Barbara) Gribble, Pittsburgh a nephew, George Salsgiver,
Mobile, Ala. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Arthur and Eugene, and a
sister, Mrs. Trudell Salsgiver. Friends are being received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
today at the Rairigh Funeral Home, Hillsdale, where services will be held
Tuesday at 1 p.m. with the Rev. William Cope officiating. Interment will be in
the Burnside Cemetery.
