Golden, 73, of Clymer, died Monday, Dec. 1, 1997, at St. Andrew's Village in Indiana. The son of Fred and Nancy Ben- nett Golden, he was born April 23, 1924, in Cherryhill Township, Indi- ana County. Mr. Golden lived all of his life in the Cherryhill Township area, where he was a member of the Harmony United Presbyterian Church, Penn Run. Prior to his retirement, he had been employed with the Indiana Area School District as a custodian and, for 17 years, at Calvary Presby- terian Church. He also was a farmer and had worked for a number of years at Indiana Feed and Supply. Survivors include his wife, F. Blanche DeHaven; one son, James F. Golden and his wife, Barbara, Penn Run; two grandchildren, Becky and Jeffrey; and one great grandson, Brandon. He was preceded in death by his parents and one infant sister, Ruby Ellen. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at Robinson- Lytle's, where services will be held 10:30 a.m. Wednesday with the Rev. Lea L. Austin officiating. Interment will be made in Grove Chapel Ceme- tery, Rayne Township.
