Indiana Evening Gazette, Indiana PA   July 2, 1943
James B. Griffith, born September 27, 1861, in Burnside, died yesterday in his home in Detroit.  He was married in 1885 to Miss Teresa Rowley, who died in 1936.  Surviving are thesechildren:  Mrs. Maude Dodson of Lawrence, Kan.; Mrs. Sara Kerr of Detroit; Lawrence and George Griffith, both of Detroit; Miss Dee Griffith of Washington, D. C., and Mrs. Va (Virginia) Moore of Marion Center; ten grandchildren and two great-grandchildren and a brother, George Griffith of Burnside.  Funeral services and interment will take place in Detroit tomorrow.
