Hamilton, 67, of Clarion RD, a retired truck driver, died Saturday in the Veterans Administration Hospital in Pittsburgh. He was born February 16, 1911 in Indiana, a son of S. Clark and Cora Dodson Hamilton. He was married to the former Mae Mauthe, who survives. Mr. Hamilton had retired as a truck driver for R & H Corporation of Clarion. He was a member of the F & AM Lodge 277 in Clarion, the Coudersport Consistory and the Zem Zem Shrine in Erie. He was a World War II veteran. In addition to his wife of Clarion RD, he is survived by the following childred; Richard Hamilton of Washington, D.C., Gary Hamilton of Jacksonville, Fla., and JoAnn Rhoades of Knox. Also surviving are three sisters, Mrs Wendell (Gertrude)Cook, and Miss Emma Hamilton, both of Indiana, and Mrs. Joseph (Ruth) Bottenfield of Ligonier; and four grand-children. Two brothers preceded him in death. Friends may call after 7 pm today in the Gerald L. Goble Funeral Home in Clarion and from 2-4 and 7-9 pm Tuesday. In place of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to the Shriners Hospital in Erie or the Shippenville Volunteer Ambulance Service.
