    Betty Heiple

Betty Lou Heiple, 70, of Blairsville
died Wednesday, Dec. 17, 1997, at
her home.
The daughter of Oscar L. and
Mary E. Cummins Cole, she was
born Sept. 8, 1927, in Wana, W.Va.
 Mrs. Heiple was a member of the
First United Methodist Church in
Blairsville.
She retired from the housekeeping
unit at Torrance State Hospital.
 Surviving are two sons: Dennis M.
Heiple and his wife, Darla, Indiana;
Eugene L. Heiple and his wife,
Carol, Blairsville; a daughter, Mrs.
James (LuAnn) Hutcheson, Blairs-
ville; a sister, Mrs. Robert (Marga-
ret) Smith, Blairsville; a brother,
Robert O. Cole, Jamestown, N.Y.;
three grandsons: Brad Heiple, Indi-
ana; Zane Heiple, Blairsville and
Josh Hutcheson, Blairsville; a
granddaughter, Mandy Hutcheson,
Blairsville.
She was preceded in death by her
parents; her husband, Charles I.
Heiple, who died in 1971; a sister,
Wilma Chernicky; and a brother,
Charles W. Cole.
 There will be no visitation. The
James F. Ferguson Funeral Home,
Blairsville, is handling arrange-
ments. A service will be held 1 p.m.
Friday in The Twin Valley Chapel
Mausoleum, Delmont. Interment
will be in the Twin Valley Memorial
Park,Delmont.
 In lieu of flowers, memorial dona-
tions may be made to the First
United Methodist Church, Blairs-
ville, or a charity of the donor's
choice.
