   Edna Hitchings
 Edna Hitchings, 77, 580 North
 Ninth St., Indiana, died Saturday,
 Nov. 22, 1997, at the Indiana Hospi-
 tal.
  The daughter of Edgar and Drucil-
 la Boring Jamison, she was born
 May 11, 1920, in Homer City.
  Mrs. Hitchings was an active
 member of the Grace United Meth-
 odist Church, the Mary Circle, and
 the AARP Evergreen Chapter.
  She was the widow of James W.
 Hitchings who died in 1982.
 A 1938 graduate of the Homer City
High School, she was a homemaker,
mother and grandmother. She was
employed by Federal Laboratories,
Tunnelton, for several years. She
enjoyed her many travels in recent
years with friends and family.
 Surviving are three sons, James
E. and his wife Betty, Rochester
Mills; Even L. and his wife Barbara,
Indiana; Robert W. and his wife
Janet, Tndiana; one sister, Anna
Marie Schell, Smethport; six grand-
children: James, Jon and Jeffrey
Hitchings; Evan "Skip" Snyder;
Jessica and Joanna Hitchings; nine
great-grandchildren.
 She was preceded in death by her
parents; her husband; one sister,
Jean Neal; and an infant sister.
 Friends will be received from 2-4
and 7-9 Monday at the Bowser-Min-
ich Funeral Home, Indiana, where
funeral services will be held Tues-
day at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Dr.
Ferd B. Park officiating. Interment
will be made in the Greenwood
Cemetery, Indiana.

Church, Seventh and Church
