Mary E McChesney Irwin, 66, Blairsville RD 3, died Friday, Nov 16, 1979 in the
Latrobe Area Hospital, a daughter of John and Carrie (Forsha) McChesney. She was
born Jan 2, 1913. Mrs Irwin was a member of the Hebron Lutheran Church,
Blairsville, the Derry Golden Ages and the Derry Community Club. Surviving are
two sons Donald M., Mineral Ridge, Ohio. Kenneth L Seneca; one daughter Mrs.
Albert (Mary Jane) Burger, New Derry; 10 grandchildren, four great-
grandchildren. one brother Paul McChesney, Blairsville RD 3. She was preceded in
death by her husband, Merle in 1972, two sons, Wendell in 1948 and Harold in
1968 and a sister Velma, in 1973. Friends were received Saturday and Sunday in
the Richard L Shoemaker Funeral Home, Blairsville. Services will be held at 1 pm
today (Monday) in the Hebron Lutheran Church, Blairsville. The Rev R Bruce
Maxwell and the Rev E Earl Anderson will officiate with interment in the
Blairsville Cemetery.
