MRS. THELMA "BETTY" JONES, 66. of Blairsville RD 1, Strangford, died Friday.
June 25, 1971, at the Latrobe Area Hospital, Latrobe. A daughter of Addison and
Madge Baker Forsha, she was born August 16, 1904, in Blairsville. Mrs. Jones was
a member of the Strangford United Methodist Church. Surviving are her husband.
Martin E. a son: Alvin W., Blairsville; three grandchildren; two brothers:
Preston Forsha, Derry; Melvin Forsha, Tarpon Springs Fla.: three half-brothers:
Paul and James Forsha, both of Blairsville; Philip Forsha, of Philadelphia; two
half-sisters: Mrs. Mary McIntosh, Blairsville; Mrs. Sue Uss, Milford, Conn.
Friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. today and from noon-4 and 7-9
p.m. Sunday at the Ferguson-Helm Funeral Home, Blairsville, where services will
be held Monday at 1:30 p.m.. Rev. Paul Wilson, officiating. Interment will be in
Blairsville Cemetery.
