Johnson of Armagh, one of the oldest and most prominent men in Indiana county, died at one o'clock Monday morning at his home. The deceased was the owner of considerable property in this county and was a director of the Farmers' Bank of Indiana. He was interested in all that tended toward building up his town and county and was a member of the Presbyterian church. About 55 years ago Mr. Johnson married Miss Mary Elliot who with three daughters and a son survives him. The daughters are Mrs. Mary Taylor of Indiana, Mrs. Arthur B. Sutton of Coraopolis and Miss Jennie at home. The son is Elliot Johnson of Armagh. The funeral services were held at the Armagh Presbyterian church at 2 p.m. Tuesday with interment in the cemetery there.
