Edna Byers Kingston Kunkle, 72, widow of Reed Kunkle, Indiana, died Wednesday, Dec.
2, 1970. Born Nov. 23, 1898, in Rayne Twp., she was a daughter of Charles Edward and
Celia Dias Byers. She had lived almost her entire life in Rayne and White township.
Surviving are a son Howard Kingston, Harrisburg; a daughter, Mrs. John (Evelyn)
Gontner, Daytona Beach, Fla.; a brother, Fred Byers, Indiana; a sister, Mrs. George
(Bertha) Hartmann, Indiana; a step-brother, Clarence Cunningham, Indiana; a
step-sister, Mrs. Clair (Dorothy) Ruffner, Indiana, and six grandchildren. She was
first married to George Kingston who preceded her in death. Friends are being
received today at Robinson-Lytle's, Indiana, where services will be held Saturday.
The Rev. John L. Kipp, Th. D., will officiate and interment will be in Oakland
Cemetery, Indiana.
