King, 72, of 1348 Philadelphia St., Indiana, died Tuesday, Nov. 10, 1970 at the Indiana Hospital. Born Sept. 2, 1898, in Armstrong Twp., Indiana County, he was a son of William and Mary Elizabeth Harrold King. Mr. King had lived several years in Rayne Twp. before moving to Indiana over 50 years ago. He was employed by M. Bennett & Sons as maintenance Supervisor and was a partner in Indiana Stone & Lime Co. until retirement in 1966. Surviving are one son, Richard C. King, Indiana; one daughter, Mrs. Gele (Roberta) Fedder, Indiana, with whom Mr. King made his home; 16 grandchildren and one great-grandson; four sisters: Misses Mabel and Nora KIng, and Mrs. Anna Lutz, all of Indiana; Mrs. Harvey (Orpha) Brown of Penn Run. He was preceded in death by his wife, Miraim A. McCombs King, April 7, 1970 and two sons, Eugene and William. Friends were received at Robinson-Lytle's, Indiana, after 7:30 pm last evening and today (Thursday) from 2-4 and 7-9 pm, where services will be held Friday at 1:30 pm. The Rev. Delbert E. Jolley will officiate and interment will be in the Oakland Cemetery, Indiana.
