King Isaac Norman King, aged 78 years, died suddenly at the home of his daughter, Mrs. M. B. Bowman, of near Crete in Armstrong township, Friday morning. The deceased, who was a son of Isaac and Eva King, was born near Homer City, March 23, 1853, and had been a resident of Center township for 60 years. Fol- lowing the death of his wife three years ago he had resided in the Bow- man home. He was one of the sub- stantial residents of the community and was a long-time member of the Crete United Presbyterian church, where he had served as an elder of the congregation for the past 35 years. In addition to Mrs. Bowman he leaves another daughter, Mrs. Roy McAdoo, of Young township, and a foster-daughter, Mrs. H.W. Steph- ens, of White township, also four grand- children. He is also survived by two sisters, Mrs. Nannie Gilbert and Miss Margaret King, of Johnstown, and two brothers, Robert King, of Oak- mont, and Thomas King, of Glasgow, Cambria county. The funeral ser- vices were conducted on Monday at- ternoon at the Bowman home by his pastor, Rev. Harry Hood, and inter- ment followed in the Oakland ceme- tery.
