King,77, Ford City Rd 1, died in Al- legheny Valley Hospital Tues.- day, Sept. 17, 1974. A son of John and Mary Gibson King, he was born June 25, 1897 in Latrobe, Westmoreland County. Mr. King was a farmer and had been a resident of Ford City for 63 years. He was mar- ried Nov. 10, 1925. He was a memeber of the Mt. Union Lu- theran Church and Woodmen of the World Society. Surviving are his widow: Martha Smith King; two daughters; Mrs. James (Millie) King, Ford City RD 1; Mrs. Ray (Lois) Claypool, Shelocta RD 1; two sons: Charles E., Ford City RD 1; and John V., Vandergrift RD 2; eleven grandchildren; one brother: Willian A., Austin Rd 2; one niece and two nephews. Friends will be received at the Clark Funeral Home, El- derton tonight 7-9 p.m. and 2-4 and 7-9p.m. Thursday and Fri- day until noon. Friends will be received at Mt. Union Luther- an Church from 1-2 p.m. when services will be held with the Rev. Vaughn E. Taylor offici- ating. Interment in Mt. Union Cemetery.
