Kuchar, 88, of Coral, died Thursday, Dec. 18, 1997, in Allen- town. The daughter of Rudolph and Clara Olsafsky Rura, she was born Aug. 11 1909, in Coral. yne was a member of the St. Francis Church, Coral; the Altar Rosary Society; the First Catholic Slovak Ladies Association and was financial secretary for more than 60 years of the St. Elizabeth Society, Branch 317, Coral. Surviving are two daughters, Rose Kuchar, Pittsburgh; Betty Ann and husband Robert Gazza, Homer City; a Son, Edward Kuchar and wife Libby, Allentown; nine grandchil- dren and 15 great-grandchildren three sisters, Rose Sudik, Kathryn Schwartz, Anna Kubancik, all of Cleveland, Ohio and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband Joseph Ku- char; four brothers, Sam, Joseph, Steve and Gustie Rura; a sister, Gertrude Allshouse; a grandson, Robert J. Gazza and two great- granddaughters, Eden and Libby Gazza. Friends will be received Sunday, from 2-4 and 7-9 at the C. Frederick Bowser Funeral Home, Homer City where the parish rosary will be recited Sunday at 3:30 p.m. A prayer service will be held Monday at 9 a.m. at the funeral home followed by a funeral mass at 9:30 a.m. at St. Francis Roman Catholic Church, Coral, with the Rev. Fr. Elmer Kacinko officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
