Florence B. Doumont Lentz, 82, Clarksburg RD 1, died Sunday, July 26, 1998, in
the Indiana Hospital. The daughter of Gus David and Laura Belle Palmer Doumont,
she was born July 23, 1916, in Bairdstown. For 24 years, Mrs. Lentz worked as a
licensed practical nurse in Torrance State Hospital, Blairsville. She retired in
1974. She is survived by one son, Jack H. Lentz and his wife, Donna, Clarksburg;
two daughters, Joyce Y. Rizzuto, Kendall Park, N.J., and Jane L. Dymond,
Manning, S.C.; two . sisters, Irene Reed, New Kensington, and Clara Williams,
Derry; eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. She is preceded in
death by her parents; her husband, Arthur Clair Lentz, who died in 1997, and
eight brothers and sisters. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
Tuesday at the Curran Funeral Home, Saltsburg, where a funeral service will be
held Wednesday at 10 a.m. with the Rev. Dr. Thomas Jones officiating. Interment
will he made in the Edgewood Cemetery, Saltsburg. Memorials can be made to the
Visiting Nurse Association, Airport Professional Center, Indiana, PA 15701.
