The son of Wilbur and Jesse Burford Lemmon, he was born Nov. 20, 1920, in East Franklin Township. He was a member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church, Adrian. He retired from the Maintenance Department of the Armstrpng School District in 1986. Mr. Lemmon served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. Surviving are his wife, Ivy Lucille Lash Lemmon, whom he married Aug. 15, 1940; a son, James G. Lemmon, Indiana; two grandchil- dren, Toni Rudd and Todd Lemmon; three great-grandchildren: Ashley Marie Rudd, William James Rudd and Noah James Lemmon; and two brothers: Milton, Ford City, and Glen, Michigan. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Parks Lem- mon. Friends will be be received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Saturday at the Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home, Kittanning, where services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday with the Rev. Donald Hebrank officiating. Inter- ment will be in Lawn Haven Burial Estates, Worthington RD 1.
