The Indiana Progress, Indiana, Pennsyvlania Wednesday, May 27, 1896
MATTHEW LONG.
Mr. Matthew Long, of Washington township, died on Thursday evening, of dropsy, 
aged about 73 years. The deceased was a member of the Plumcreek United 
Presbyterian church. The following children survive him: Mrs. Thomas BOTHEL, 
of Derry township, Westmoreland county; Mrs Abraham STUCHEL, of Aspen, Col.; 
Mrs. David BOTHEL, of Washington township; Misses Lizzie and Jennie and James, 
who live at home. The funeral services were conducted on Sabbath by Rev. 
Brown, of Willet, and interment was made in the Plumcreek church graveyard.
