"BERT" LOWMAN, 79, of 790 East Pike, Indiana, passed away Wednesday, October 6, 1965, at 1:00 p.m. in the Indiana Hospital where he had been a patient for the past eight days. Born October 12, 1885 in Grant Township, near Rochester Mills, he was a son of Jacob F. and Keturah S. McCracken Lowman. His early life was spent in Grant Twp. For some years he had resided in New Kensington and for the past 35 years lived in White Township. First married to Celia Mock, who preceded him in death, he later married Elsie Gamble who also preceded him in death. He is survived by three sons: Paul, Lowman's Road, Indiana; Guy, New Kensington; Russell, San Bernardino, Calif.; four daughters: Mrs. Harry Deabenderfer, Indiana R.D.3; Alice, Mary and Delores; two brothers: Blair Lowman, East Pike, Indiana; Budd L. Lowman, Erie; two sisters: Dolly and Alice K. Lowman, both of Indiana R.D.4. Friends will be received after 7:30 p.m. today and on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at Robinson-Lytle's, Indiana, where services will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Saturday.
