A son of James A. and Melisena Spicher Lowman, he was born Nov. 2, 1892 in Grant Twp., Indiana County. He was the husband of Lucy Myrtle Trimble, who preceded him in death on Nov. 11, 1954. A resident of Johnstown for the past 13 years, he formerly owned and operated a service station at Purchase Line for 13 years. Surviving are four daughters: Mrs. LaRue Houck and Mrs. Charles (Marie) Zgonce, both of Niagara Falls, N.Y.; Mrs. Ralph (Bernice) Mellinger, Wesleyville; Mrs. Joseph (Trudell) Swanson, Erie; 13 grandchildren; 16 great- grandchildren; tow brothers and two sisters: Mrs. Laura Oaks and Mrs. Gail Riethmiller, both of Indiana; Logan of Gipsy and Glenn, Marion Center R.D.1. Friends are being received from 2-4 and 7-10 p.m. today and from 3:30 until 10 p.m. Wednesday at the Rairigh Fuenral Home, Hillsdale. where services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. with Rev. E.R.
