LOWMAN, formerly of Hospital Road, Indiana, Pa., died October 24, 1959 in Buffalo, N.Y., as a result of injuries received in an auto accident. Mr. Lowman was born May 5, 1938, in Indiana Co., Pa., the son of Ellsworth and Martha Grace Adams Lowman. He was a 1956 graduate of Indiana Joint High School and a member of the Graystone United Presbyterian Church. He was serving with the U.S. Navy as an aviation mechanic 3rd class, his 4-year tour was to have ended next July. Surviving are his parents of Buffalo, N.Y.; four brothers, Joseph C. and Ellsworth, Jr., both of Cleveland, Ohio; Robert Lee and Raymond, both of Buffalo, N.Y.; and two sisters, Mrs. Irvin (Louise) Drotar of Cleveland, Ohio, and Mrs. Michael (Arlene) Zbur of Ernest, Pa. His grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Clair Lowman of Indiana RD 4 and Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Adams of Home, Pa., also survive. Friends will be received at Robinson-Lytle's in Indiana after 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, where the Rev. Frank A. Lawrence, D.D., will conduct services Wednesday, October 28, 1959 at 1:30 p.m. Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. Military Rites will be conducted at the grave.
