Mrs. Carrie R. Forsha McChesney, 75, of Blairsville RD 3, Derry Township, died
at 12:45 p. m. Saturday, July 30, 1960, in the Cribbs Convalescent Home,
Josephine, Pa. Her husband, John C. McChesney, preceded her in death in 1954.
She was born in Derry Township, Sept. 19, 1874, a daughter of the late Jefferson
and Mary Guss Forsha. She was a member of the Blairsville Presbyterian Church.
She is survived by a son Paul McChesney, Derry Township; two daughters, Mrs. Roy
(Velma) Elliott, New Alexandria, and Mrs. Merle (Mary) Irwin, Derry Township;
two sisters, Mrs. Daisy Libengood, Alliance, O., and Mrs. Lawrence (Bess)
Bergman, Blairsville, and 12 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Friends are being received at the Shoemaker Funeral Home, Blairsville. Services
will be conducted there at 2 pm Tuesday by the Rev. L. E. Schaffer. Interment
will be made in Coles Cemetery, Derry.
