The Indiana Gazette Sat, Dec 08, 1962 
Mrs. Dora Byrd McClellen, 73, of 142 West Campbell Street, Blairsville, died
December 6, 1962 at her home. She was born in Portsmouth, Ohio, September 24,
1889, daughter of Abner and Lucinda White Byrd. She was a member of the
Blairsville United Presbyterian Church. Surviving her are her husband, George,
four daughters and one son: Mrs. Lucinda Harris of Pittsburgh; Willa McClellen
of Blairsville; Almeda McClellen of Staten Island, N.Y.; Penelope McClellen of
Blairsville, and Samuel A. McClellen of Blairsville. There are four
grandchildren. Friends will be received at her home, West Campbell Street,
Blairsville, where services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, December 10. The Rev.
Edward J. Thomson will officiate and interment will follow in the Blairsville
Cemetery.
