McCracken, 78, Indi- ana, died Wednesday, Dec. 17, 1997, at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh. The daughter of Carl and Mae Pruner Smith, she was born Aug. 13, 1919, in White Township Mrs. McCracken had attended the Clymer Gospel Mission. She was a homemaker and member of the Big 10 CB Club. Surviving are six daughters: Mrs. Irene Simmons, Ford City; Mrs. John (Evelyn) Lentz, Indiana RD 3; Mrs. Robert (Betty) Fair, James- town, N.Y.; Mrs. William (JoAnn) Palmer, Brush Valley; Mrs. Thelma Cochran, Indiana RD 3; Mrs. Rich (Ann) Lepley, Jamestown, N.Y.; a son, Theodore Evens, Indiana RD 1; and a stepdaughter, Mrs. Frank (Sally) Gruda, Marion Center; 24 grandchildren; and 31 great-grand- children. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, William D. McCracken; an infant son, William; an infant daughter, Jeanette; two brothers, Raymond and Harry; and four sisters, Merld Stulhfire, Leoda Evens, Margaret Abraham and Ir- ene Hinton. Friends will be received Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Bence- Mihalcik Funeral Home, Indiana. Funeral services will be held by her oldest grandson, the Rev. Robert Fair, at 11 a.m. Saturday in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Oakland Cemetery, Indiana.
