Mrs. Nancy McCreary, died at the home of her son, John S. McCreary, of
Kermoor, Clearfield county, Monday evening, May 1, of a complication of
diseases incident to old age. She was 89 year old. Her husband, Robert
McCreary, died in East Mahoning township, this county, about eight years
ago, and the remains of Mrs. McCreary were laid beside those of her husband
in the old Mahoning U.P. cemetery, near Marion Center, on Thursday afternoon.
Seven children survive her, as follows: Rev. W.H., of Loveland, Col.; Newton,
of St. Louis, Mo.; James M., of Fort Collins, Col.; E.H., of Parsons, Kan.;
J.F., of California, and Robert A., of Morgantown, W. Va.
