Mrs. Maggie McCunn, widow of Gawin McCunn died at ll A.M. Friday in the
home of her daughter, Mrs. J. Y. (Laura) Hillwig in McKeesport. A daughter
of Charles & Margaret (Moore) Long, she was born May 25, 1857. Surviving
with Mrs. Hillwig are another daughter Mrs. Lula Ober of Rayne Twp. and
a brother William Long of Irwin. The body will be brought late tonight
to the home of Mr. & Mrs. Sloan Beers, 50 North Second Street. Mrs. Beers
being a granddaughter of the deceased. Services will be conducted in the
Beers home at 2:00 P.M. Monday. The Rev. Arthur J. Pfohl DD pastor of Zion
Lutheran Church will officiate and interment will be in Rayne Church cemetery.
