Blairsville Dispatch  22 Apr 1947
Died at home (55 E Ransom St., Blairsville.  Born 2 June 1882, son of Samuel 
and Sarah Jane Clawson McCurdy.  Survived by wife Emma (Holby) McCurdy, son 
George McCurdy, brothers and sisters Ida Holbym Tillie Murray, Homer, Samuel, 
Charles, Adam, 9 grandchildren, 8 great-crandchildren.  Burial Blairsville 
Cemetery.



Additional Comments:
I believe the birth date is incorrect (may be 1876) as my 
grandfather/William's brother, Samuel McCurdy was born in 28 Jan 1882 and he 
was not a twin.

William K McCurdy was married to (1) Carrie Adelia White Clawson with whom he 
had son George, and (2) Emma Holby

I cannot find any evidence at this time (14 Feb 2009) of William J McCurdy's 
burial in Blairsville Cemetery
