M. shabodeho@aol.com June 3, 2010, 9:51 am Indiana County Gazette 1/5/1910 Mrs. Sarah McHenry Indiana County Gazette 1/5/1910 Mrs. Sarah McHenry, familiarly known as "Aunt Sally" and one of the oldest and most highly respected resident of Rayne township, died at her home near Ernest, Saturday morning, following a stroke of paralysis sustained the previous Tuesday. She was aged 90 years and is survived by these children: Frank, Misses Hannh Ann, Emmaline and Melinda, at home; Mrs. Matilda Reeder, of (??????) (???); Samuel F., living on the(????pers) farm east of town; G. Meade, of Creekside; also by 21 grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Mrs. McHenry was a daughter of Jacob (????), a Rayne township pioneer. In (????), she married James G. McHenry, who died in 1880. The funeral was held at the home Monday morning, services being conducted by her pastor, Rev. W. J. Waso of Indiana, who preaches in the Washington Presbyterian church.
