    James Edward McMahan, Clymer, died in the Indiana Hospital yesterday at 
6:45 a.m. of a cerebral hemorrhage.  He was born Nov. 21, 1858 in Rochester 
mills, the son of Daniel & Rachael (Jeffries) McMahan.  He married Adeline 
Cochran who preceded him in death on March 28, 1922.  He is survived by 
children: Howard, George, Ray, John, Nay, Thomas, Cecilia Elder, Nellie Henry, 
Margaret Myers and Lola Stonebraker as well as 49 grandchildren and 20 great-
grandchildren.  Two children preceded him in death.  Interment in Best 
Cemetery, Deckers Point.
