Miller, 83, Marion Center, died Tuesday, Dec. 16, 1997, at his residence. A son of Glenn and Hazel Gaston Miller, he was born Nov. 27, 1914, in Rochester Mills. Mr. Miller was an active member of the Marion Center community, where he has been a resident for most of his life. He supported the Marion Center Volunteer Fire De- partment, Marion Center Lions Club and various other causes and groups. He was owner and operator of Miller's Market in Marion Center for 46 years. Mr. Miller was a World War II Army veteran, having serired in the Pacific Theater of Operations. Surviving are one son, Larry A. and his wife, Joy, Marion Center; two grandchildren, Michelle Shick and her husband, Dale, Marion Cen- ter; Curtis Miller, Pittsburgh; two great-granddaughters, Samantha and Heather Shick, Marion Center; one brother, Budd Miller, and his wife, Shirley, Lewiston, N.Y. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Mary E. Gallo Miller, who died in 1987; two broth- ers, Max and Cree Miller. Visitation and funeral service will be private, with the Rev. R. Bruce Shannon officiating. Interment will be in the Marion Center Memorial Cemetery. Bowser-Minich Funeral Home, Plumville, is in charge of arrangements.
