   George Nanz

 George William Nanz, 61, 121
South Main Street, Homer City, died
Tuesday, Jan. 6, 1998, at the Indiana
Hospital.
 Born March 14, 1936, in Pitts-
burgh, he was the son of John and
Margaret Stehle Nanz.
 Surviving are two daughters, Su-
san Nanz, Pittsburgh, and Sheryl
Nanz, Blairsville; one granddaugh-
ter, Laken Georgeanna Tassos; two
sisters, Ellen Davies, Indiana, and
Peggy Farren, Pittsburgh; one
brother, Donald Stehle, California,
and many nieces and nephews.
 He was preceded in death by his
parents and his wife, Bobby Jo
Nanz.
 Friends will be received at the C.
Frederick Bowser Funeral Home in
Homer City from 7-9 p.m. Wednes-
day and from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m.
Thursday, the time of services, at
the funeral home. Dr. John Inghram
will officiate and interment will be in
the Luther Chapel Cemetery at Cor-
al.
