Mrs. Helen Virginia Oaks, 27, passed away Tuesday, March 15, after a brief
illness. She was the wife of Kenneth Oaks of Cherry Tree. Surviving are her
husband, her mother, Mrs. Effie Yingling, Cherry Tree, R. D., and the following
brothers and sisters: Blair, Cresson, Mrs. Preston Zerbe, York Springs, Mrs.
Thomas Michael, Altoona, Max, Altoona, Mrs. Freeman Carr, Baltimore, Md., Mrs.
Clifford Sway, Clearfield, Mrs. Morris Ivanish and Vernon, both of Pittsburgh,
Russell, Westover, Mrs. Doyle Oaks, and James, of Cherry Tree, Donna, Boyd and
Norman, at home.
Funeral services will be held Friday, March 18th, at the McCardle Funeral Home,
Burnside, at 2:00 p. m., with Rev. E. F. Pearce officiating. Interment will be
in East Ridge cemetery. Friends will be received at the Funeral Home after 8:00
p. rn. today.
