Indiana Messenger, 19 Dec 1916
Joseph Ober died at his home nearTanoma, Sabbath afternoon (Dec 17) at 4 o'clock,
aged 64 years. The funeralservices were held today, Wednesday, at 10 a. m. He leaves
a widow and one daughter. He was one of the prominent residents of that section and
was actively engaged until a short time ago in the conducting of his business, and
at the same time taking a strong interest and part in the social and business life
of his community.
