   Michael Ondo

 Michael P. Ondo, 48, 1 Channel
Drive, Carlisle, formerly of Homer
City, died Wednesday, Dec. 24, 1997,
at Indiana Hospital.
 The son of George and Ethel Sipos
Ondo, he was born Dec. 22, 1949, in
Indiana.
 Mr. Ondo was agraduate of
Triangle Tech, Pittsburgh, and a
member of the Red Barn Sports-
man's Club; UMWA Local 488, Lu-
cernemines; and was the former
president of ABATE.
 For 20 years, he worked as a
mechanic in Lucerne Mine 6. He was
later employed by Highway Master
of Norristown.
 He is survived by his parents, of
Homer City RD 4; his former wife,
Marlene Ondo, Indiana; his son,
Gregory M. Ondo, Albuquerque,
N.M.; a brother, Richard E. Ondo
and Connie, Brush Valley; two sis-
ters, Suzanne Ondo, Indiana, and
Georgette Ondo and her fiance,
Brian Cline, Marco Island, Fla.;
sister-in-law, Becky Ondo, Indiana;
and three nieces; special friend,
Tracey Overdorff, Brush Valley.
 He was preceded in death by his
brother, Edward Ondo.
 Friends will be received 2-4 and 7-9
p.m. Saturday at the C. Frederick
Bowser Funeral Home, Homer City,
where a funeral service will held
at 2 p.m. Sunday. Interment will
follow at the St. Bernard Cemetery,
Indiana.
