Indiana Evening Gazette, Saturday, November 17, 1948
Mrs. Ella Maude Palmer, 55, of Bairdstown, died at 2:25 p. m. yesterday in her home.
She was born Feb. 14, 1890, in Indiana Co., a daughter of the late John Tyson and
Sarah (Dias) Rager. Surviving are her husband, William Palmer; one daughter, Miss
Regina Palmer, at home and two sons; Lloyd, at home and William, with the Army at
Ft. Totten, N. Y. The following brothers and sisters also survive: Cloe and Cecil
Rager, Indiana; Frank, Cleveland; Mart, of Blairsville; Mrs. Violet Trainer,
Indiana, Mrs. Mulda Jane Frazier, of Cleveland, and Mrs. Frances Larkins Pittsburgh.
Friends will be received in the residence where funeral services will be conducted
at 2:30 p. m. Monday. Rev. John L. Reiner, pastor of the Blairsville Lutheran
Church, will officiate, Interment will be in Blairsville Cemetery.
