Paratto, 71, Luciusboro Road, Coral, died Sunday, Nov. 8, 1998, at his home. The son of Peter and Anna Holland Paratto, he was born August 31, 1927, in Colver. He was a member of the American Legion, Post 493, Homer City; teh Iron Workers Local 3, Pittsburgh, and the St. Francis Roman Catholic Church, Coral. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served in WWII as a medium tank crewman in the 2nd Army Division, Company B. He worked for over 25 years as a structural ironworker. He is survived by his wife, Helen (Lebda) Paratto, Coral; three sons: Alan Paratto and his wife Linda, Rural Valley; David Paratto and his wife Laura, Kent; and Richard McCleod and his wife, Donna, Reseda, Calif.; a daughter, Cynthia and her husband Richard Ringler, Fayetteville, Nc.; five grandchildren: Angela, Tony, Lee, Kristina and Richard; four sisters: Catherine Gilgosky, Connecticut; Lillian Oloff, Cleveland, Ohio; Ruth Jones, Patton; Dorothy Paratto, Elmora; four brothers: Fred Paratto, Connecticut; Pete Paratto, Cleveland; Ralp Paratto, Elmora, and Robert Paratto, Wickliffe, Ohio. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, George, and a sister, Alyce Board. Friends will be received Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the C. Frederick Bowser Funeral Home, Homer City, where a Parish Rosary will be recited at 3p.m. Interment will be in the St. Francis Cemetery.
